Liza has been dancing since the age of eight and is currently celebrating her 36th year with Deborah's Dance Workshop. During that time, she has completed in many regional and national dance competitions and won numerous awards. She has studies at many schools in New York City, and with instructors John Madeiros, Gene Acquire, Charles Kelley, Sheila Barker, Frank Hatchett, Bill Hotaling, Jeff Shade, Jermaine Browne, Cathy Roe, Rennie Harris, Gregg Russell, Chio, Kindra, Steve Sirico, Angelie Bellemare and "So You Think You Can Dance" faculty, Mia Micheals, Shane Sparks, Wade Robson, Cris Judd, Brian Friedman, Dave Scott and Tyce Diorio.
Liza has attended many workshops throughout CT, MA, and NYC during her time with DDW. Every summer since 2003, she has participated in Dance Teacher seminars to further her teaching skills to pass on to our students.
Liza has judged many dance, talent, and modeling competitions for American Miss, Stagestruck, Dance Capers Competitions and the Greater Miss Litchfield County Pageant.
Liza teaches for our competition team in several genres such as Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. She also teaches with Miss Deb in the recreational acro and lyrical classes.
